Terms & Conditions

Last updated: June 2026

These terms apply to all bookings made with My Puppy Coach, a puppy coaching service run by Amanda Meir, trading as My Puppy Coach (mypuppycoach.com). By booking a session with us, you agree to these terms.

Our services

My Puppy Coach provides puppy coaching and behaviour guidance delivered via video call and, where specified, in person in the Warrington and Cheshire area. Our services include the Puppy Consultation and other coaching packages as listed on our website.

Bookings and payment

Sessions are booked and paid for in advance via our online booking system. Full payment is required at the time of booking to confirm your session. We do not offer free consultations.

Cancellations and rescheduling

We understand that plans change, especially with a new puppy.

Our policy is:

  • Cancellations or rescheduling requests made more than 48 hours before your session: full refund or free reschedule

  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of your session: no refund, but we will offer one free reschedule where possible

  • Missed sessions without notice: non-refundable

If we need to cancel or reschedule a session on our end, we will offer you an alternative time or a full refund.

Online sessions

Sessions delivered via video call require a stable internet connection on your part. We are not responsible for technical issues outside our control, but we'll always do our best to reschedule promptly if a session is disrupted by a connection or platform issue on either side.

Your responsibilities

To get the most from your session, please:

  • Provide accurate information about your puppy's age, breed, health, and behaviour history

  • Ensure your puppy is safe and supervised during any in-person session

  • Let us know in advance of any known aggression, health conditions, or behaviours that may affect the session

Nature of our advice

My Puppy Coach provides general behaviour coaching and training guidance based on professional experience and qualifications. This is not a substitute for veterinary care. If your puppy shows signs of illness, injury, or behaviour that may indicate a medical issue, please consult a vet.

You remain responsible for your puppy's wellbeing and safety at all times, including during and between sessions. Advice given is intended as guidance — implementation and outcomes depend on individual circumstances.

Liability

While we provide our services with care and professional expertise, we cannot guarantee specific behavioural outcomes, as every puppy and household is different. To the fullest extent permitted by law, My Puppy Coach is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of our services.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

Intellectual property

Any materials, guides, or resources provided to you as part of a session remain the property of My Puppy Coach and are for your personal use only. Please don't share or reproduce them without permission.

Complaints

If you're ever unhappy with a session, please get in touch at amanda@mypuppycoach.com — we want to put things right and welcome the feedback.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. The version in effect at the time of your booking will apply to that booking.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
